Sa'ed Atshan is a Palestinian Quaker and graduate of the Ramallah Friends School and Swarthmore College. He received his doctorate in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies from Harvard University. He has worked with a wide range of organizations to find practical solutions to conflicts, and conducted research into the struggle for peace through nonviolent resistance in Palestine. Sa'ed is currently an assistant professor in the Peace and Conflict Studies department at Swarthmore College.
